Idell Dufort: adding to what starchild had to sayif you plan to go year round (for example taking summer classes)then you will have to save up money to pay for it because there is no additional fin aid award for summerso, to answer your question... yes, the money being split into fall & spring semesters means you do not have any allocated for summeryou can ask them to split it into 3 semesters if you are 100% certain you are going to take summer classes... but, if you then end up not taking summer classes, you have lost portion of aid...Show more

If you are on the Quarter system, your financial aid will be split into 3 payments, Fall, winter and Spring.In order to keep getting financial aid each year, you will need to fill out the FAFSA each year.Also, when you receive financial aid, the school you attend will take the money they ! are owed out of your financial aid check at the beginning of the semester.
