Where is this global warming at?

Tillie Wynott: Each state has only one governor, who basically, acts like a mini-President for his/her particular state. Governors do very much the same thing as a President... just on a smaller scale. Each state has two Senators. They are responsible for proposing bills to Congress that eventually become national law or policy. They often sit on subcommittees with a specific agenda, such as education or budget.Edit: Governors and Senators are elected officials, and as such may be from either party... or in a few cases a third party....Show more

Daria Verfaillie: THE WINTER HERE IN THE POCONOS HAS BEEN TERRIBLE STARTING WITH A FREAK OCTOBER BLIZZARD. I THINK AL GORE IS A MORON & SHOULD BE INSTITUTIONALIZED.

Marquetta Gimm: Considering that the free cell phones lady is now the average voter, the average American probably blames the Man in the Moon.I'm sorry, but any semblance of intelligence has long departed the average American.

Esteban Faggett: New scie! ntific theory claims it due to solar activity. However, we have seen little sunspots like the little ice age (maunders minimum) and there no sign of Europe freezing yet.

Coleman Deliberato: i think they put the global warming thing on hold for awhile...just until there's climate change ....

Norris Rosener: It sure isn't here in Northern Virginia....

Ezekiel Kadner: A Governor is the head of his individual states Government, and only has any authority in that state. A Senator is an elected representative, with each state having two, that helps write and pass legislation. Senators are not the only elected officials who do this. Each state also elects a certain number of representatives for the House of Representatives, based on that states population. Both the House of Representatives and the Senate write and pass legislation

Sonya Volcko: You don't get the "global" part, do you?

Mikel Bethay: Libs can blame us, but realisticly the economy st! ill sucks as we all know and Oblamer's been in office for the ! past four years.

Renato Abatiell: The Gov. is the head of the state government. Each state has only one. A Sen. is a member of the national Congress. Each state has two.

Gertrude Darke: A governor is the head of a state government, like a Canadian or Australian premier. A senator is part of the national congress, like an MP.Each state has one governor and two senators.

Virgilio Echter: texas is experiencing a new ice age

Thomas Riner: Globally, not locally. Global warming can cause extreme weather patterns.

Carmina Stickney: It's nowhere, because it doesn't exist.

Ardell Luy: Liberals have changed the name from Global Warming (since the planet actually cooled the last two years) to Climate Change to continue to try to scare the people so grant money will continue to flow to universities, like anything else, this is about money.Bottom line, this is just a normal planetary shift in climate which has been happening for millions of years. ! 500,000 years ago Greenland was full of lush forests, I wonder who's fault it was that it's now covered in ice?...Show more

Donnie Bolio: Obviously climate change exists, after all, this is the physical world. And also obviously, climate is very complex. The new "science" of climatology, which involves collecting some data and tossing it into a computer modeling program can not claim to know all the variables involved. They support their "theories" when dissent appears by referring to how complex it is, yet most are willing to transform entire economies and government/society relationships claiming that have a grip on this complexity......which they don't.It's too bad that the "scientific" community has developed a "you are either with us or against us" attitude, which brings to mind the Vatican centuries ago. Maybe the problem is that swarmy politicians have taken the reigns, which will inherently breed mistrust of the movement they are "claiming" to represent. The f! act is that most people don't understand the physics, the testing equip! ment, the computer modeling, yet they are tearing at each other's throats about it because of the political juggernaut that appears to be doing nothing but positioning themselves for profit.Look at the complaints towards the EU's big solution. Many "environmentalists" say that what these politicians came up with to "fight global warming" will not have any significant effect on the "problem". But I guarantee that if you look at their official plans, a whole lot of money and power will be moving in the direction of the politicians. What I personally gathered from the plan was that rich countries who can afford to pay off these gangsters can still pollute, as long as they pay their carbon credits....sounds like Gore's scam to me.Too bad the science in all of this has been lost. One more thing. We can measure all day long how much CO2 is in the atmosphere and how much it has increased, but where is the proven link?...Show more

Sharie Sommerville: Why not google it? Half t! he people here would tell you wrong and the other half would lie to you on purpose.

Ester Bryand: Obama can't blame Bush for his problems. If it goes bad, the voters will blame Democrats. It is his fault regardless of whether it is Congress's fault because the president is supposed to lead right?

Toya Braskett: Both. The biggest factor was the Housing Laws called the Community Reinvestment Act that Clinton signed. Bush warned against half heartedly then ran an election stating home ownership was up. Democrats in Congress such as Barney Frank covered for this Act. Republicans did nothing to help Bush win. There's a lot of blame.

Elva Batie: I had that yesterday where I am. But we are at the tail end of an ice age. Temps go up and down. If you look at the temps in the last 4,000 years, you start to see a pattern. But life is not sustained in extreme cold. Life flourishes in heat. So why the panic over the temp going up a few degrees for a few hund! red years?

Jackelyn Archut: Because he was a leader, whether or n! ot is was once a good one or now not history will come to a decision. Many of the mess came from Congress via relegation. There is a need for relegation but now not over relegation or dangerous relegation. Many politicians have their possess personal pursuits on this discipline and they have got harm thousands via doing it. This has been constructing up since the 70's, forcing banks to reduce their lending necessities. I'm not giving money to anybody i know that has a historical past of now not paying men and women back the cash they borrowed. That is just silly! But I have to also say many lenders obtained grasping and so did many purchasers who had all this credit to get some thing they favored

Ellis Cellar: I'm just curious. In the UK there are sharp divides between Labour who was in power and the coalition who are now in power. But I don't ever see the same arguments in the US, eve though it sounds worse there ?

Stanton Valdivia: 'Tis at the globe, babe, dat! 's whar it be at

Gene Debell: There is certainly enough blame to go around to both parties. There are bound to be ups and downs in the economy as there are ups and downs in the weather. The Democrats were in complete control of congress from 2007 to 2011. The Republicans controlled both houses of congress from 2003 to 2007, and the white house from 2001 to 2009. There was general prosperity from 2001 to 2007 in spite of the Iraq-Afghanistan wars and terrorism. Energy prices started going up in 2007, which may have been a reflection of global demand for oil which is HIGHER when there is global prosperity. The costs of fuel and housing are definitely a big part of the cost of living in this country as I suspect they are in yours too. When fuel prices go up then naturally there is less money in everyone's budget for other things, and what is worse, it makes the price of just about everything that needs shipping to local stores more expensive. Meanwhile wage! s do not immediately go up too so there is less money in everyone's poc! kets. Now we have a president, who has a lot of power simply by being president and much of that power is independent of congress and the judiciary, especially if they are sympathetic to the president's objectives. Obama has followed an inflationary and spending approach to the recession. In the Keynesian approach to economics a country can spend its way back to prosperity. The additional money in the economy is supposed to raise all boats, as it were. As the economy lags all this spending debt is greater than it has ever been. Meanwhile Obama has done everything he can to shut down carbon-based energy, partly because the energy industry and big oil have been supporters of the Republicans mostly. This may have been partly in reaction to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico but also because of the environmentalists out there who believe that our carbon footprint is too big and that by cutting back on carbon use we can reverse "global warming" when there is very litt! le evidence anything the US does or the world for that matter does can reverse "global warming" at all or for that matter that human activity is causing it. Now we have the impending imposition of the "affordable health care act" in full force after January 1. This will make it much more difficult for businesses to control their employee related expenses, so people who did have jobs without health insurance will have no jobs at all. Any act of congress which has "affordable" in the title generally means it won't be affordable. In fact many consider the movement for "affordable housing" which caused the justice department to put pressure on banks to lend money to subprime borrowers because of an affirmative action based plan that everyone should own a home and that not lending to poor people of color means the banks are racist. This of course is nonsense because the color of money is the same, but that is how they think in Washington. Meanwhile we have welfare states l! ike Greece who have been weighing down the Euro under a mountain of deb! t. And they are rioting in the streets because people aren't allowed to retire at 50 any more. This has weighed down the US dollar too. As Margaret Thatcher once said "Unfortunately you eventually run out of other people's money".To make a long answer short, the average American doesn't have a clue. They just reelected both the GOP congress, kept the ratio of seats in the Senate to keep that body Democratic, and reelected Obama to a second 4 year term. Maybe the best thing that could happen is that the GOP continues to block the worst of Obama's new excesses and lets the market and not the politics of the situation do the sorting out....Show more

Brenton Cornwall: People do not really blame a party, they blame Bush. There was a split in power during Bush's second term when the recession started, so they just blame Bush.

Sabra Roers: You need to buy some more Carbon Off-set credits and watch Algores work of fiction a few more times and then hopefully you wil! l be fully indoctrinated, Comrade!

Bettye Arre: I'll let you know when that Antarctic ice shelf finally broke off- the one that's been there for centuries

Pam Rampadarat: The Republicans.

Kris Bozelle: It doesnt exist

Lyman Gauld: Ask me in a few days. Forecast calls for sunny and 65.

Jannie Ariola: The Global Warming nuts just spin it, saying the cooling period is just part of global warming. They now call it "climate change"! LMFAO!Well, DERRRRRRR, the climate is SUPPOSED to change.

Clinton Migliori: Well, America can only try, we can't make people want to change who they really are inside. This reminds me of that time about Saudi Arabia who wanted to give a young girl who was raped 100 lashes just for being raped. Of course when word got out Saudi Arabia's king stepped in and stopped it.

Vernon Martorana: Thanks Islam Delenda Est, do the two senators represent Republicans and Democrats? Or can you have a governor and both senator! s of the same party?

Alexis Reyer: Well, basically it is like thi! s. If the weather is unusually warm it is definitely because of Global Warming. If on the other hand, the weather is unusually cold, it is definitely because of Global Warming. Of course, it only stands to reason, if the temperature is normal for a given time of year, that too, is definitely because of Global Warming.Got it?Now what to do about it. If we have all businesses pay a fee to Al Gore's company, the climate will revert to normal and the cataclysm will be averted. I hope this little primer helps.*...Show more

Miguel Koczela: God some people must have logs for headshttp://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2009/20090126_...We've now about reached the point of no return thanks to fools who think the earth is only 6,000 years old

Jude Kennelly: governors run the states pretty much like the president does the country.. senate makes the rules that the president has to follow..every state has 2 senators

Neville Dautremont: Honest answer? It was kind! a everyone.Yahoo Answers? ******* liberals.

Alise Rutgers: I'm English, so a little confused as to the differences between a Governor and a Senator in the US...Also how many does each state have?Thanks!...Show more

Elvin Mannheimer: The biggest problem is that we have a stagnent government where neither party can compromise.

Darcie Peraha: I guess this is less harsh than the Taliban would have done, but still...http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081021/ap_on_re_as/as...Opinions?

Jose Calaycay: A mayor is like the president of a city. A governor is like the president of a state. A congressman is a representative of the persons to the abode of Representatives. A senator is a representatives of the state to the Senate (see 17th change tho). the abode of Representatives and the Senate at the same time make up the Congress of the U. S..
