Efren Clankscales: The responsibilities of the MOH vary from bride to bride. Some brides just need you to buy the dress and show up, other brides need support and help from beginning to end. My MOH, for example, is taking care of her dress, shoes, hair and make up. She is also planning the bridal shower with help from my mom and a few other friends (my other bridesmaids don't live locally to help), she is also planning the bachelor AND bachelorette parties. (She is doing this because we live out of town and are coming home for the wedding, none of my fiance's groomsmen live here either)She also went with me to go gown shopping, helped me pick out my BM dresses, and she is also at my fittings to give advice, learn how to bustle my gown, and just be there for moral support. You are also usually the one responsible for signing the marriage license as a witness.
