1996 nissan maxima radio wont turn on?

Dedra Furguson: check fuses, antenna, maybe wiring bro. good luck i hate not listening to music while im speeding

Ramon Dahlheimer: Why would you try to jump it, when you have a new battery? Now you have to say what the engine does when you try to start it. With a new battery I would "guess" the engine cranks but doesn't start. In that case you have to check spark, fuel, timing. If the engine doesn't even crank, you have to check fuses, ignition switch, starter solenoid, etc.

Thurman Buege: if lights on the radio are ON, most probably the radio is faulty, check the fuses, but if there is a fuse blowed fuse, lights on the radio should not go.

Kris Bozelle: first check your fuse then if that does not fix it check your grounding.if this does'nt do it replace the radio or even consider purchasing an aftermarket radio.they're cheaper than the stock radio now a days and they sound a lot better.hope this helps.
